Overview
We are looking for a Senior PHP Front-End Developer with strong experience in Laravel and modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js and React. You’ll play a key role in building and maintaining interactive, scalable web applications in a dynamic, product-focused environment. This is a hands-on development role working closely with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers. Full time, remote/hybrid position (Malta-based preferred, but flexible).
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable front-end interfaces using Vue.js and React
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate Laravel APIs and business logic
- Lead front-end architectural decisions and mentor junior developers
- Optimize applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes into clean, reusable code
- Contribute to product roadmap and sprint planning by providing technical input

Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience with PHP and Laravel
- 3+ years of experience with Vue.js and/or React
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and Laravel Blade components
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, Webpack, Vite
- Experience with responsive design, performance optimization, and SEO fundamentals
- Git-based workflow (GitHub/GitLab)
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Nice to have
- Experience with Inertia.js, Livewire, or TailwindCSS
- Exposure to TypeScript or SSR (e.g., Nuxt.js, Next.js)
- Familiarity with Docker-based dev environments
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
