B2B gaming software provider Blokotech and fintech firm Xprizo, which operates with a focus on the global betting and gaming industry, have entered a new partnership.
The duo’s primary goal is to offer an upgraded payments experience to betting customers in the Southeast Asia region and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), targeting accessibility, convenience and trust.
For its part, Xprizo will contribute its wallet solution, credit and debit cards, third party digital wallets and bank transfer services to the partnership. Both firms have also emphasised security and plans to adopt encryption to protect customer data transaction details.

Xprizo and Blokotech’s Asia-focused partnership comes at a time of continued growth for betting and gaming in the region, with the UAE – one of the target markets of the agreement, and the location of Xprizo’s main HQ – apparently preparing to launch a local market.
In September last year, local media reported that the UAE government had set up a regulatory body, the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA). Meanwhile, India is primed to host a range of local gaming markets, although the regulatory picture is not coherent nationwide.
The partners’ focus on India and the GCC region also comes at a time when many other gaming stakeholders are keeping a closer eye on Latin American developments, particularly Brazil – however, Xprizo’s website states that the firm is ‘coming soon to Latin America’.
